Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ToolRun (toolrun.io) collects when you use the site, and how it is used. ToolRun does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or other personal details to use any tool.

Your inputs stay in your browser

Every tool on ToolRun runs entirely in your web browser. The text you type and the files you open, including PDFs and images, are processed on your device and are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by our servers.

Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure page speed. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you. We only see aggregated statistics, such as how many people visited a page.

We also use Umami, a cookieless analytics service, to count how tools are used: for example, that a file was added or a result was downloaded, and what was typed into the site's tool search. It never receives your files, the text you enter into tools, or their results, and it does not identify you or track you across websites.

Advertising and cookies

ToolRun is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Children

ToolRun is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
