Rotate PDF Pages

Fix the orientation of PDF pages that were scanned sideways, upside down, or at the wrong angle. You can rotate all pages at once or adjust individual pages independently.

Rotation Options

  • 90° Clockwise (CW): Rotates the page a quarter turn to the right.
  • 90° Counter-clockwise (CCW): Rotates the page a quarter turn to the left.
  • 180°: Flips the page upside down. Useful for documents that were scanned backwards.

How It Works

This tool modifies the page rotation metadata in the PDF without re-encoding any content. The original page data (text, images, vectors) is preserved exactly — only the display orientation changes. This means rotation is lossless and produces output identical in quality to the input.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does rotation reduce quality?
No. Rotation only changes the page orientation metadata. All page content is preserved exactly as in the original file. There is no re-encoding or quality loss.
Can I rotate individual pages differently?
Yes. Each page has its own rotation controls. You can rotate page 1 by 90° and page 2 by 180°, for example. You can also use the "Rotate All" buttons to set the same rotation for every page at once.
Will the file size change?
The file size will be virtually identical to the original. Rotation only modifies a small metadata value per page.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
